A multiple bet is a single bet that links together a number of individual bets and there are many terms used when talking about multiple bets.
The first section below lists the multipe bets where all choices must win which pays more but is harder to get right...
- Double - 1 bet involving selections in 2 different events.
- Treble - 1 bet involving 3 choices in different events.
- Four-Fold Accumulator - 1 bet involving 4 selections in different events.
- Five-Fold Accumulator - 1 bet involving 5 choices in different events.
- Six-Fold Accumulator - 1 bet involving 6 choices in different events.
- Seven-Fold Accumulator - 1 bet involving 7 selections in different events.
- Eight-Fold Accumulator - 1 sports bet involving 8 selections in different events.
Other types of multiple bets where all choices don't have to win are as follows:
- Trixie - 4 bets involving 3 selections in different events, consisting of 3 doubles and 1 treble. At least 2 selections must be successful to get a payout.
- Patent - 7 bets involving 3 selections in different events consisting of 3 singles, 3 doubles and a treble. This is 7 total bets and one winning selection is enough to get a payout.
- Yankee - 11 bets involving 4 selections in different events consisting of 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a four-fold. At least 2 selections must be successful.
- Super Yankee (or Canadian) - 26 bets involving 5 selections in different events consisting of 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-olds and a five-fold. This is 26 total bets and at least 2 choices must be successful.
- Lucky 31 - 31 sports bets on 5 selections in 5 separate events consisting of 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and a five-fold. This is 31 total sports bets and one winning selection is enough to get a payout.
- Lucky 63 - 63 bets on 6 selections in 6 separate events consisting of 6 singles, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and a six-fold. Only one winning choice is needed to get a payout.
- Heinz - 57 sports bets involving 6 selections in different events consisting of 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and a six-fold. At least 2 choices must be successful in order to get a payout.
- Super Heinz - 120 bets on 7 selections in 7 separate events, consisting of 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds and a seven-fold. This is a total of 120 bets and at least 2 choices must be successful to get a payout.
- Goliath - 247 bets involving 8 selections in different events consisting of 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, 8 seven-folds and 1 eight-fold. At least 2 selections must be successful to get a payout.
